Bella Forrest has brought a bit of a twist to vampirism. A sick girl, Amy, that comes from a family of nothing, finds a new way of life. Amy's entire life, her father has sheltered her for fear she would get sick or make others sick. Her father's actions were out of love and wanting to protect her. She would hide in the shadows dreaming of another life. Finally one day it happened. This book is full of love interests, action, drama and a twist to vampirism that I thought was very interesting. I would, without hesitation, suggest reading this two book series.

Bella is a great author and I give her 4 stars. The Beautiful Monster series is great and the only reason I give it 3.5 stars is because the "vampire" stories are over done, that is just my opinion. I will say, I do not feel like I wasted my time diving into this series.
